The S&P 500 Index closed over 3000 on Monday and could test its all-time highs this week.
Crude oil continues to trade in the low 50’s. This has kept Energy stocks relatively weak and remains a lingering concern for the global economy (slow vs grow).
In today’s video we look across the S&P 500 sectors and highlight changing themes and out-performers. We also look at individual stocks we like, as well as those on the move today. Here’s a recap:
– Bond proxies are consolidating on a relative basis.
– Cyclical sectors are showing signs of improvement in the near-term.
– The Energy Sector (XLE) remains weak from a trend perspective.
