Another month is upon us so it’s a good time to take a look at what’s been happening in the ETF space of the markets. In our April monthly ETF trends review video, I talk about some key ETFs to monitor within the context of current trends going on in the markets. Investors will want to stay on top of these themes as we head into the second quarter of 2015.
The S&P 500 ETF (SPY), which represents large cap stocks, finished the quarter up around 1 percent. But volatility throughout the quarter added turbulence to the markets and left investors looking for clarity. That clarity may come with earnings season around the corner. In the following video, we discuss some key price areas to monitor on the index heading into earnings season. We also look at the recent outperformance of the Russell 2000 ETF (IWM), and how the Emerging Markets (EEM) and Gold (GLD) are setting up, and much more.
Hope you find some value in our monthly ETF trends and chart review video. Thanks for watching.
