After two days of nasty selling buyers are trying to firm up the stock market.
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq are showing some relative strength, while small caps and the Russell 2000 lag.
Big question: Can traders hold this bounce?
Much will depend on today’s closing prices.
How well we close today will deliver the price action for next week.
That becomes very important if traders are going to be able to morph into a ‘buy the dip’ space next week. Stay tuned… and nimble.
